This red Roman tunic replicates the standard issue to the Roman legions from the days of the Republic to the end of the Roman Empire (circa 400 AD).
This tunic is versatile and complements medieval clothing as well. The cotton shirt extends to mid-thigh and brings about a distinctive look. The Romans took the color red from the Spartan's red cloaks (as did the English army later in history). It can be worn under armor or standalone.
The tunic is shown here with the Roman Belt with Hanging Leather Strips.
