This Highland Medieval Brigandine Suede Leather garment has Leather plates riveted between the outer shell and the lining.  Very flexible but highly padded, it does not restrict movement. Commonly worn over a gambeson and mail shirt, this protection  was used extensively by warriors and archers.  Our Scottish Highland Brigandine vest comes with adjustable back straps and is great for LARP  and other  costume events.
